Technical Info: Open Knuckles or Closed Knuckles?

Most 1970’s + later have Open Knuckles……..

Open Knuckles: you can see the stub shaft u-joint from behind the knuckle.

Closed Knuckles:  you cannot see the axle u-joint from behind the knuckle.

This Kit comes with All New Set of Caliper Mounting Brackets.

These New Caliper Brackets are Heavy Duty and made of Heavy Steel.

These Brackets have 12 mountings holes for multi-positioning.

All new Parts including Mile Marker Premium Hubs.

Your old Locking Hubs will not work on this Kit.

Your wheels should fit as they do on your truck now.

 NOTE: some old trucks have 1/2-20″ lug bolt threads.

The new Hub+Rotor assembly w/the Kit has 9/16-18″ lug bolt threads.

Also check your Brake Hose Length, we supply you with 24″ Hose Set.

We have 30″ Hose Set upgrade available for Lifted Trucks.

All of our H.D. Kits come with Dual Piston Calipers in Red or Black.

SPECIAL NOTE…READ BEFORE YOU BUY: This Kit works on Heavy Duty dana 44 only.

Look behind your knuckle to see if you have 12 bolts at the ball seal.

8 bolts is Standard Duty dana 44 + 12 bolts is Heavy Duty dana 44.

THIS KIT IS FOR HEAVY DUTY DANA 44 ONLY.

IH + Dodge used mostly short spindles + Stub Shafts.

You will have to will have to check to see if you have the Short Spindles. 

You will need longer Stub Shafts to match the length of the New Spindles.

It is highly likely that you will need the Stub Shafts in the 2nd photo.

The Stub Shafts Upgrade comes with 2 new Conversion U-Joints.

They will link up to your stock axle shafts, no problem

So check your Spindle length.

Short spindles are 5-14″” flange to end of threads, Long are 6-1/2″ tall.
